Washington D.C.

Over spring break we went to Washington D.C. My mom, dad, and me. We will start at the begining. On Sunday we went to some old plantation houses. One was where the first Thanksgiving was.
The next day we went to a theme park called Old Dominion. Which was pretty much just like Lagoon only with more extreem rides. And after that we went to Colonial Williamsburg for ten minutes to pick up a map for later in the week.

The next day was our first day in D.C. We rode a bus that was a double decker and we got stuck on the top for two hours. We were a little sunburnt after but mostly annoyed. These are from the top of the bus.

Then we went to the Gaylord hotel. Wow talk about nice! It had a giant inside garden and hotels and wow it was awesome. They had THE BEST chocolate cake ever. And it was on the Patomac with and awesome view.

The next day we went back to D.C and had a private tour of the Capital then we went to the air and space museum on the way to the Holocaust museum. At the holocaust museum there was a permanent exebet that you had to get tickets for but they were all sold out. That was really what mom wanted to go to but just as we were standing there a woman came up and she was giving three tickets back so instead she gave them to us! The tickets were for 4:30 so we went to the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Monument while we waited.

The next day we went to Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg. They were great to see the historical sites. On Friday we went back to D.C. and went to the spy museum, the Museum of American History which has all of the First ladies inogural ball gowns, and the Nation Archives. On Saturday we went to Mount Vernon and then flew home. It was a great trip but i love being home!

On Saturday, we boarded a chartered jet on our way to the latest and greatest sporting venue in all of sports: The New Cowboys Stadium. We ended up watching one of the biggest games in BYU football history. Here are some of the pics we took:

A Visit North

Kemarie went to stay with the Williams for a couple of days. We went shopping, had Nintendo parties, went on bike rides and took some pictures. It was a fun weekend and we look foward to doing it again.

The Bees

Last weekend we all went to the Bees game (Eric, Shy and Gage are missing from this pic, they were out getting their animal balloons). We had a ton of fun. We played musical chairs the entire time each taking turns with the wiggly ones. We got one seat for the little boys to share because we figured they'd be standing most of the time anyway. It's a good thing there were extra seats near by because this is what they did the whole time they shared. They are dressed the same but it was not planned, just a cute, ironic coincident. The three older kids held hands when they went into the park and over to the play area. Gage and Shy were in a constant battle over how to hold their hands. It was quite entertaining. On the way back from the play area, they even let little Max join in.
Just before the end of the game the Bees mascot came over by out seats. We got this cute picture while they waited in line for their turn to meet him. Thanks for taking us mom and dad!

Spring Break

For spring Break we went down to St. George. The problem was that it was cold the whole time! The one day it was nice we went on a hike much to Kemarie's protest. Jeff thretened to take all her new clothes back. She was mad but I thought it was quite funny. She enjoyed it though. It wasnt long but we saw some great hyroglyphics the indians made a long time ago. We got some photos on Kem's camera so here they are. Kemarie complained about the wind as much as Shydra does about the sun in her eyes!

I AM... happy that I made my school dace company.
I WANT... my english report to do itself.
I HAVE... been very busy lately.
I KEEP... all my shcool stuff and my bag weighes 40 lbs I swear.
I WISH I COULD... find out casting for my june show.
I FEAR... failure.
I HEAR... Cars the movie (it is on tv).
I DON'T THINK... ever.
I REGRET... joining my G&T english class.
I LOVE... my family and dance.
I AM NOT... writing my report like I should.
I DANCE... all the time even when I am at school.
I SING... radomly when I feel like it.
I NEVER... have likied math and never will.
I RARELY... clean my room. :}
I CRY WHEN I WATCH... Hallmark movies they get me every time!
I AM NOT ALWAYS... that patient
I HATE THAT... I have more homework to do.
I'M CONFUSED ABOUT... the economy.
I NEED... to start working on my project.
I SHOULD... not be doing this right now.

My Week!

This week has not been the best. On Monday I woke up with a sore throat(which is not uncommon) so I told my mom and waited. At 3:00 I still wasn't better so mom decided to take me to the doctor. The nurse didn't swab my throat very far back. Of course the culture came back negitive. Well being told that I had a virues I went home and suffered for 2 days. Mom, Dad, and I decided that I was good enough to go to school. So I went. I felt horrible so when I got home mom took me back to the doctors. Another swab was taken and was swabed really well. This was a different nurse and she was taught how to swab right!! Suprise, Suprise I have Strep.
Four days of suffering could have been saved if I could have gotten a decent NURSE!!!!!

Christmas

The whole family was at our house for Christmas. We went sledding on Christmas Eve and had a blast.

I spent the weekend helping with the boys. They are crazy!Even little Max had a chance to go sledding. As you can see we had TONS of snow at our house! Christmas Even night we performed our annual nativity. So Cute! The kids were so excited on Christmas morning.The day after Christmas we went to Sundance with the entire Jorgensen family. Everyone was there. We played games and went sledding again!

Deck the Halls

Christmas this year is at our houseand it is nuts! We had Devin and Lindsey come early yesterday to "claim their bed". Then at about 11 Dede and Eric showed up. On Christmas Eve Brett and Rhiannon walked in at 9 o'clock. We went sleding and had fun.

Ballet Utah 2

I, Kemarie, am now on a Ballet Company. These are my company pics. with just me and some of my class. These were taken at the begining of the year. We are touring schools preforming Nutcracker on December 5th. Then in Feburary the are preforming in Swan Lake as The Young Swans and in Firebird as Monsters. Also, in June, we will be Jesters in Cinderella.

Honor Roll

Kemarie made the high honor roll! Then on Friday the 14th she is going roller blading with her school. They are going during 3rd and 4th period. To bad for Kemarie that one of those is her favorite class. Oh well no work.

Maxon (Max) Jorgensen was born on Sept. 22 at 6:56 p.m.. He weighed 5lb.13oz. and was 19 in. long.

Math Teacher

Kemarie has decided that her math teacher is mean. She comes home complaing luckly she only has her every other day. Her other classes are going ok just her math class is a problem.

New Bed

After being told that our bed would be brought to our house in 4-6 weeks and getting it in 8 we still got the wrong parts! It still can be used but the headboard is about 3 inches taller. We are working on getting those part but for the most part it is perfect. It is one of the prettiest bed I have ever seen.

First Day of School

Friday was Kemarie's first day of school in a big Jr. High. She was one of the lucky ones and found all the classes she needed to be in and got there on time! She has a dance class she is excited about because she loves dance, and surprisingly she thinks she will love her English class because the teacher lets music play most of the time and gives out candy on a regular basis.

Jeff in Alaska

Jeff was able to go to Alaska on another trip for work. He gets to go everywhere fun. Here is a couple pictures of him at the Anchorage, Alaska temple. Everyone at work was jealous and volunteered to go on this trip, even though he was up an back in less than 3 days. No one volunteered to go to Tucson this summer to do a job on an eleven story furnace!

Chicago

Jeff took a trip to Chicago for work and I was able to go with him. We did a little sight seeing. This is on top of the Sears Tower with our hotel behind us. We were also able to go to the Melenium Park and the Navy Pier along with a private dinner at Science Museum. My personal favorite was the Broadway musical Wicked.

Model Airplane Show

On Saturday we went to a model airplane show in Lehi at a special model airplane airport. It was fun to see all the different plane types and the tricks these planes could do. Gage loved trying to find the planes in the air and being able to be so close to the action. Devin and my dad loved discussing the different plane types. They both have a model plane of their own. My dad built his from scratch (it took several years) and I doubt we'll ever get him to put it in the air again. Devin's came a little more preassembled with the intent that they both could practice flying it and not be out the hard work. They have each only flown once and that was before my parents moved from Salina with the help of a friend who flies often, just to prove that their planes could fly. They are to chicken to try again. Apparently they aren't easy to land. The people flying at the show go out to this airport regularly to practice and invited them out to learn and practice. So maybe we will see their planes in the air again!

This would be Brett sitting under the tree all by himself. He wasn't as into it as the rest of us. (He didn't spend much time there, we just needed to make fun of him!)

The hit of the show was the flying lawnmower, and it flew pretty well. It was a bit odd to see that thing flying around though!

Happy Father's Day!

All of us were at my mom and dad's for father's day this year! We had fun just being together. We tried to take pictures with my dad and his grandkids but it didn't go as planned. None of them cooperated very well, but it was funny! We are so lucky to have a dad that has always supported us in everything we do and has always been there for us. We love you dad!!!!

Girls Camp

I went to girls camp this last week and had a blast. We went to bed at 10:30 (sometimes later when the other girls would stay up and talk making too much noise to fall asleep) and wake up at 6:00 and do things that used our brain from 6 to 6:30. On Wednesday it snowed while the fourth years were on their over night hike. That day was supposed to be our hike day but it was canceled. I went on the high coarse which was climbing up a huge pole, sliding on a thin wire, and then zip lining down ( I did it to prove to my family I Kemarie Jorgensen am not a chicken and to go down the awesome zip line)!

1. I am in the A.L.L program (accelerated learning lab) for middle school.

2. I am going to be in a production of Sleeping Beauty later this month.

3. I am not very good at writing stories or reports or any such thing of that nature!

4. I'm the only child left at home and I am completely spoiled with a Wii, my own room with a tv in it and a big screen downstairs that I can use whenever I want and most of the without hassle.

5. I want to be a ballerina when I grow up.( can you tell i'm running out of ideas?)

6. Two months ago I was put on pointe in my dance class.( i love it too)

Local Performance

The family (Jerri, Kem, Dede, and Shy) all got together last night to put on a little show for a local group in South Jordan. We all sang, played the piano, and Shy gave a little dance number that stole the show. Everyone did a great job but we're glad to have it over and done!
